The IsraeliJazz book is a vital part of the project, and a lot of research has gone into gathering the information it contains. Lee Caplan, an expert on the Israeli jazz education system and a professor of musicology in New Jersey, and Yair Dagan, an Israeli writer who wrote the first book on Israeli jazz, have contributed to the creation of the content of the IsraeliJazz book. Are also included 100+ photographs taken by Raphael Perez over the last 7 years.
It is a 288-page coffee table book with a very high-quality printing materials and process and a unique content written both English and French languages.
The first part of book is a contextualization of the evolution of jazz in Israel since 1920. The second part of the book presents 92 musicians with their biographies and some photographs taken by Raphael Perez.
